Thank you for the comment Cathy! I completely agree with you - No one book/system (except the Bible) has the answers for every child. I have adapted the scheduling techniques for each of my children based on their individual needs (and I believe at least 2 of my children have SPD issues, among other things), and it has helped us is so many ways. Ultimately I think the BabyWise/GKGW series really conveyed to me that there is more peace in the house, when there is a Godly order in the home. So many families have 'child centered homes' that leave mom's and dad's frustrated and forgetting the roles God has for them. It sounds like your children are blessed to have you as their Momma! Keep up the good work! =) God Bless! ~ Erika

Hi Erika!
Love your webpage and youtube videos! We did Babywise, and I regret it for one of ours. As it turns out, one of our boys has Aspergers and a sensitivity processing disorder. We know now that he did so poorly with the Growing Kids God's Way/Babywise system because of his special needs. Our other son did fine with the Babywise methods.

Just one thing to think about. One system is not right for all.

LOL! Thanks Christine for your comment! You're right, this is definitely an excellent book for first-time parents or any parent looking to re-gain order in their household of young children. God Bless! ~ Erika

Highly recommended book for any parent, but especially first-time parents. Maintain your life while establishing routines for your baby. Gives you hope in those first few "hairy" weeks of mother (and father) hood.
