For a limited time each year, McDonalds comes out with their signature ‘Shamrock Shake’, an artificial green concoction with so many unhealthy ingredients I wouldn’t dare feed it to my family. Not wanting to be a party-pooper I decided to come up with my own Healthy version of the shake so my family & I could enjoy the fun of drinking something ‘green & creamy’ in honor of St. Patrick’s Day or any day!
This Dairy Free Natural Shamrock Shake Recipe is so creamy & delicious… you won’t even feel like you’re missing out! Plus, it’s actually good for you!

Thanks for the recipe! In the photo with the straws and strawberries, what is the white whipped cream looking layer on top of the shake? Do you have a healthy alternative for whipping cream?
Hi Dawn!
Yes! I do have a delicious recipe for a Non-Dairy Vanilla Coconut Cream.. which is what I used on the top of the shake. I also have a variation of it that can be used for frosting! I’ll be sharing those recipes soon!
In the mean time, you can refrigerate a can of whole coconut milk over night and there should be a little ‘cream’ on the top for you to use. Sweeten it to your taste, then add a little Vanilla, and Voila’!
Unfortunately, by the time I took the photo for these shakes, the cream had melted. =) But we slurped them down anyway and they were still great!
Enjoy & God Bless!

I LOVE these!!! I can’t tell you how many of them I’ve made! I’ve even decided that when a snow storm hits (which has happened about every Tuesday lately), it’s time for a Shamrock Shake! Of course, now that spring is approaching, I’ll have to find another excuse for making them. Thank you for posting this recipe!
Thought I’d let you know that I featured this recipe on the following blog post. Thanks for posting such a great recipe!
